Have a fun summer, Shaq.  Playoff basketball is back in the Windy City as the Chicago Bulls sweep the Miami Heat with a 92-79 win in Game 4.  Ben Gordon and Luol Deng led the young, quick Bulls over what appeared to be a tired, old Miami team.

This sets up a juice second round NBA playoff match between the Bulls and the Detroit Pistons.  Ben Wallace against his former team.  We like the young Chicago team, but the Pistons are on a roll.  Take the Pistons in 6.

Man, the guy in the #20 car is pissed!  Tony Stewart, during his weekly radio interview on Sirius Satellite Radio on Tuesday, compared NASCAR to professional wrestling and claimed yellow caution flags were brought out to shape races (listen to them here).  “It’s like playing God….they can almost dictate the race instead of the drivers doing it.  It’s happened too many times this year.”  Yikes.

Tony usually gets away with his biting comments, but not this time.  When the team arrived to Talladega Friday for the Aarons 499, NASCAR officials wanted a word first, not even letting the team unload the car until the big heads got a chance to speak.  A very contrite Stewart emerged from the meeting with a considerably different tone.  “The thought of (NASCAR) not being on the up-and-up was something I was frustrated about.  But after having the meeting, I feel more confident it’s not that way, and I wish I would have went to NASCAR in the first place.”  Ya think?

NASCAR was satisfied with just chewing some butt.  Tony’s been slapped with a $10,000 fine plus being placed on probation until December 31st.

Detroit’s looking like the real deal after sweeping the Orlando Magic in 4 straight games.  Led by Chauncey Billups, the Pistons unselfish offense and stout defense is putting them in a good position for a deep run in the East.

Can AI, Melo, and the Nuggets take down San Antonio?  Denver got the first game as the Spurs looked almost lathargic on the court.  Different team in Game 2 as the Nuggets overcame a 17 point deficit to make it interesting.  Look for Game 3 at the Pepsi Center to be intense as Denver tries to run the Spurs out of the building in the mile high altitude.
