The oft-injured Ken Griffey Jr., who registered yet another injury with a broken hand in December, had been silent about his latest setback. Finally coming clean, Griff claims he was wrestling with his daughter and 2 younger sons and fell awkwardly on his left wrist. Can this guy ever catch a break? If he did, I’m sure he’d pull a muscle.

Boston Celtics’
Gerald Green takes home the 2007 NBA All Star Slam Dunk award with an awesome over the table dunk. It’s not like it used to be with Jordan and Dominique back in the day, but this year had plenty of highlights; notably, Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic
slapping a sticker on the backboard with his left hand while slamming the ball with his right!

Didn’t we just see Detroit lose to St. Louis like….yesterday? Spring training kicked off Thursday with several teams having pitchers and catchers report for early practice. Highlighting the first day was the arrival of Daisuke Matsuzaka for the Boston Red Sox, the $52 million man from Japan. Although Boston’s hurlers practice until Sunday, Dice-K already has started to endear himself to the Red Sox faithful with a quote, “I would like my first batter, if he is listening, please try not to hit that ball.”
